Pågående forskningsprojekt:
- I mitt avhandlingsprojekt forskar jag om Etableringsreformen, som medför att Arbetsförmedlingen övertar huvudansvaret för integration av nyanlända flyktingar. I min masteruppsats analyserade jag förberedelserna inför reformen i Malmö kommun med fokus dels på samverkan mellan Arbetsförmedlingen och Malmö Stad och dels på reformen ur ett perspektiv av förändringar i välfärdsstaten. Avhandlingen kommer att följa reformens utveckling genom att bland annat följa etableringslotsarnas och Arbetsförmedlingens verksamhet.
PhD Dissertation:
My PhD research focuses on a new reform in Sweden concerning newly arrived refugees. Through the reform, formal responsibility for the introduction of newly arrived refugees is moved from local municipalities to the Public Employment Service. In my master thesis, I analysed the preparations for the reform in Malmö municipality, focusing on cooperation between the local municipality and the Public Employment Service as well as situating the reform in relation to other changes in advanced welfare states. For my PhD dissertation I will continue to follow the development of the reform, with a focus on for example the work of the private “coaches”, who are seen as an important part of the reform.
